This is a great vacuum and proforms well. It is nice to have the onboard tools and the hose swivels and is long enough.
I had a sefl propelled Kirby and this picks up twice the dirt and weighs much less. It is easy to push and easy to empty the dirt and
dust out of the vacuum.

I made the unfortunate mistake of attempting to clean a gross carpet stain by vacuuming it up, but all that resulted was a funky smelling vacuum and ultimately funky smelling house every time we used the vacuum. Finally I decided to man up and buy a new non funky smelling vacuum and I went with this product from Shark. The price was right at the time and although the purple color doesn't exactly match my closet it looked like a sleek little machine.
The vacuum is easy to assemble although the instructions in the manual differ from the instructions on the fold out poster that both come inside the box. The only strange part is the assembly of the top handle which requires a screwdriver and even once it's all set it makes you wonder that there should have been a more secure way to put this handle together as it seems to rattle around a little.
Once assembled I took the vacuum for a test drive and it did not disappoint. It did a great job on carpets, pulling out all kinds of dust/fuzz that my other vacuum missed. Where I was really impressed was on the bare floors as using a specific setting this thing actually picked up all the crumbs in my kitchen without just blowing them around like other vacuums.
